Martine began her journey with Yoga in her teens accompanying her mother to a Yoga class. Her teacher who was in her 70’s was an inspiration to her due to her strength, flexibility, passion for teaching and joy for life. Martine knew that Yoga was magical and transformative and much more than just a fitness workout. This sparked a passion.
Carmela was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga in 1996 and after discovering its multitude of benefits, gradually replaced her rigorous running and gym fitness routine with a daily practice in June 1997. Carmela is at senior teacher at The Yoga Clinic she conducts the morning Mysore Style Ashtanga classes and also teaches Prenatal Yoga classes.
Christa’s qualities of warmth and openness make her classes simply a lovely to place to be. With a natural confidence, Christa has a gift for building a sense of connection within her classes and bringing out the best in her students. Her background in adult mental health has also ignited an interest in the philosophical side of yoga.
Since Sylvia began her yoga journey she has experienced benefits that have far exceeded her expectations. The obvious being a stronger, more flexible and toned body which provides greater stability and balance.
Emily's love for Yoga has grown from a desire to learn more about presence, connection and healing, taking her to an Indian ashram and also a Yoga Teacher Training in beautiful Bali.
Tony has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years. Due to his demanding work in the film industry, and suffering chronic back problems, he took up Yoga to help unwind and find a balance in his life.
Ramona has been a daily practitioner of yoga for the past 10 years. She has a passion for learning and understanding human function and dysfunction and used the yogic philosophy and practice to strengthen function and regulate dysfunction.
After finding Yoga ten years ago Simone discovered the power of the practise. She wanted to spread the gift of yoga to as many people as possible she feels Yoga it has not only given her a better understanding but the power it can have to the mind body and spirit but also how integral it is to live a open and loving life.
Glenn Rogers has been teaching Kundalini yoga since 2006. Glenn has a degree in cultural studies, teaching and a Masters in Music Composition. Glenn has taught in various settings including Karnet prison working with long term prisoners.
Ali began her yoga practice with 8 Limbs back in 1998. She established a regular practice in 2001 and experienced the balance and quietude that comes from practicing yoga, daily. As such it was around this time that she felt called to pursue the teacher trainings that 8 Limbs offered.
Anthony is a Physiotherapist and Senior Yoga and Meditation Instructor with Yoga Australia. Anthony's yoga journey commenced in 1994 with Iyengar and Hatha training. In 1996, Anthony left for India and completed 2 years of meditation training as a live-in student with his teacher.
