Ashtanga Beginners Classes

If you would like to establish an Ashtanga yoga practice, an
Ashtanga Beginners is the best way to go! After an Ashtanga beginners course students
are welcome to explore the options of Ashtanga Led classes, Guided classes or Mysore style practice (please see details for each class type). Ashtanga Led classes
support a student to gain confidence in learning the Ashtanga Primary
sequence with the teacher leading the class and calling out the postures,
once the student feels more confident in the knowing the sequence they are
welcome to go into the Mysore silent practice class, where the teacher
supports each student in their practice individually. If a student feels confident
to attend a Mysore class after they have completed the Ashtanga Beginners
course, they are welcome to do so.

Ashtanga Beginners Basics Course

Ashtanga Yoga is one of the most powerful, popular and proven methods
of Yoga. It involves synchronising the breath with a progressive series of
postures Course hat produces intense internal heat that in turn detoxifies
muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a strong body, and a
calm mind. The sequencing connects body, breath, alignment, and
mindfulness to support our theme whether it’s healing, happiness or
connection.
Each flow builds upon the one previous in information and intensity. All
classes are a beautiful opportunity to blend physical movement with spiritual
intention, creating a safe place for self-reflection, inquiry and connection to
Love.
The class is a 75 minute class and is run as a course and is offered twice a
week for 4 weeks (8 classes).
